Peacock

16 x 20, mixed media on canvas using a pallet knife. This is a unique piece that I had so much fun making. Each stroke of paint created a unique effect on the canvas and the various layers added so much depth and interest to the piece. The layering of the flowers and the pop of the colors behind the peacock draw your eye in for a closer look. The colors play around on the canvas and create a beauty and harmony that is unique to this piece. It's one of my favoite paintings and it will add so much character to any place you hang it.
